As our Technical Lead, you’ll own the technical integrity of solutions from design through delivery and into operational adoption.
You will provide architectural direction, guide engineering teams, streamline delivery, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and aligned to Judo’s strategic platform direction.
This is a hands‑on leadership role grounded in collaboration, clarity, and strong architectural discipline.

Own the end-to-end technical integrity of solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, operable, and aligned with strategic direction.
Lead early solution design and architecture, shaping scalable, secure, efficient solutions aligned to business objectives and platform roadmaps.
Work closely with SMEs, engineers, and product stakeholders to clarify requirements, constraints, and technical direction.
Design holistic solutions covering APIs, integration patterns, data flows, operational impacts, and trade-offs.
Embed security, resilience, observability, and measurable SLOs/SLIs from the outset.
Communicate design intent clearly through diagrams, models, and lightweight documentation.
Govern architectural compliance, ensuring alignment to standards, enterprise roadmaps, and regulatory obligations.
Identify architectural debt early and drive remediation plans.
Provide delivery leadership by translating design intent into actionable plans, managing technical risks, and unblocking cross-team dependencies.
Validate operational readiness, ensuring monitoring, alerting, runbooks, resilience testing, and support models are in place before BAU handover.
Support capability development through mentorship, workshops, rapid spikes, and sharing architectural insights.
Define decision rights across architecture, engineering, product, and compliance contexts.
Drive simple, constraint‑driven, well‑documented designs and ensure solutions move Judo’s ecosystem toward its target state.

Your life pre-Judo and the skills you’ve picked up along the way:
Extensive experience in technical leadership roles focused on solution design, architecture, and delivery leadership.
Strong capability in designing secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable solutions across APIs, integrations, data flows, and platform ecosystems.
A deep understanding of NFRs, SLOs/SLIs, resilience engineering, threat modelling, and operational readiness.
Proven experience guiding engineering teams, clarifying design intent, and maintaining architectural alignment during delivery.
Experience with architecture governance, compliance, traceability, and aligning designs to enterprise roadmaps.
Ability to identify and manage architectural debt, technical risks, and trade-offs early in the delivery lifecycle.
Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, security, and vendor partners.
A track record of enabling capability uplift, running spikes/workshops, and supporting continuous improvement.
