Job Description
Now, about this role…
You will play a critical role in protecting Judo from financial crime risks, including money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, bribery and corruption. This role supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the financial crime compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and internal risk appetite.
Day to day, you will engage with our Bankers, Risk Management professionals and industry specialists to proactively monitor, assess and strengthen Judo Bank’s risks and controls.
You will also create meaningful relationships across Judo and proactively enhance the culture and positivity of the Bank.
If you love:
Identifying, assessing and escalating compliance and financial crime risks across products, channels and customer segments.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders including Bankers, Risk/Compliance and Operational teams to problem solve, provide subject matter expertise and guidance to help manage compliance risk.
Developing and delivering training to enhance Judo employee’s knowledge, understanding and application of risk and compliance practices - with a particular focus on AML/CTF obligations and fraud framework.
Analysing data and preparing reporting to identify patterns and emerging risks.
Conducting transaction monitoring and on-going customer due diligence reviews.

Your life pre-Judo:
AML/CTF and/or financial crime experience preferred but not required.
3 years’ experience in risk management or compliance preferred but not required.
Demonstrable skill in Microsoft office products or similar.
